Reports To: General Manager

Description:

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility., In this position you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that Team Winnebagoland is both clean and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job. The ideal candidate should have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. Candidates should also have the manual dexterity, physical stamina and good looks necessary for this work.

Duties:

    • Minor repair such as broken door locks, plumbing leaks, garage door maintenance, electrical repairs, floor maintenance, wall damage repair, painting, maintaining showroom and office areas to a high standard of cleanliness, and more.
    • Equipment installation
    • Grounds keeping such as yard upkeep, trash pickup, trimming, weed control, snow removal, and more.
    • Custodial work such as mopping, trash removal, floor scrubbing, ceiling vent dust removal, replacing stained or broken ceiling tiles, and more.
    • Regular maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and light fixtures.
    • Point of contact between Team employees and professional contractors during building expansion.
    • Maintain store and shop supplies; Replenish as needed
    • Pickup all trash receptacles at each workstation and office locations in the front of the store/sales area.
    • Vacuum carpet in the sales area and offices.
    • Operate floor scrubber throughout the sales floor and parts area.
    • Check for any ceiling lights that may be out and replace.
    • Resume any project work that is ongoing or any required maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior maintenance experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, painting, and welding.
  • Experience working with hand, air, and electric tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to maintain focus while working alone.
